Job Purpose Summary By bringing in significant experience of General Insurance regulated activity to Tlc the Compliance officer will ensure the implementation and monitoring of The Listening Company s Fsa compliance strategy in relation to clients and governing bodies. They will require strong interpersonal skills and have previous experience in taking young businesses in the regulatory field or a business whose activities are not solely within the Fsa environment that results in a robust compliance platform with the vision of taking Tlc to being a leader not a follower within the regulated contact centre Industry Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Duties) Defines develops &amp maintains the Tlc Compliance and regulatory strategy Assists in identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk by conducting effective gap analysis Develops implements &amp advises on effective mitigation plans for the resolution of problematic issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future Acts as a conduit with the roll out of any new Fsa compliance initiatives Establishes and implements a communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of compliance &amp regulatory requirements and further develops the understanding of the Management Teams as to the key components of working within a regulated environment Re-evaluates and maintains a formal internal audit monitoring programme in line with Company processes and external bodies client requirements To drive through Tcf across the whole company and review strategy and progress against the strategy Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues and concerns are being appropriately evaluated investigated and resolved Produces periodic reports for both internal and external bodies Attends &amp leads due diligence audits and client meetings as and when appropriate Has final sign off on the regulated scripts and all other compliance material in relation to a client project Signs off and revises Company policies and procedures that related to regulated environment on an ad hoc basis but at the very minimum annually To develop any Compliance Executives so that they increase their knowledge and become more effective in Fsa environment Keeping updated on new legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the business and clients to become the Expert within Tlc Liaises and co-operates with standard bodies Knowledge Skills &amp Qualifications Experience within regulated firms Experience of working in a newly regulated firm or in a firm where the business activity is not solely regulated activity and understands the challenges that this represents Knowledge of Icobs and relevant handbook sections Experience of working with or within a contact centre environment To have relevant levels of qualifications to demonstrate the experience Able to challenge and influence across the whole business Able to initiate and drive through compliance Strong interpersonal skills Communication skills Commercial acumen and ability to adapt approach as and when it is necessary Ability to work and prioritise workload in a highly pressurised environment within tight timescales Logical process driven and incisive Other Requirements 1.
